Our client is a leading professional services firm who value the meaningful work that you do and encourage you to be a part of the change within the industry. As a Senior SMSF Accountant, you will be part of a specialist team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our SMSF clients.

Ideal Candidate requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce with an accounting major
• 2-3 years' experience working as a SMSF accountant
• You have experience autonomously managing your workflow
• You have experience working directly with clients
• Strong communication skills, liaising with clients and colleagues
• You are a self starter and a team player and able to share ideas
• You possess a can-do attitude and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of SMSF's financial reports, income tax returns and business activity statements in accordance with all current legal and accounting reporting standards
• Preparation of a source documents file that supports the SMSF's financial reports to support the audit of the reports in line with RSM policies & procedures
• Support senior team members with management of client relationships
• Assist with administration support for SMSF clients such as scanning and managing electronic filing of documents

Desirable attributes:

• Completion or near completion of CA or equivalent
• Experience with Class Super or BGL360
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel
