Ideal Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce with an accounting major
- 2-3 years' experience working as a SMSF accountant
- You have experience autonomously managing your workflow
- You have experience working directly with clients
- Strong communication skills, liaising with clients and colleagues
- You are a self starter and a team player and able to share ideas
- You possess a can-do attitude and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of SMSF's financial reports, income tax returns and business activity statements in accordance with all current legal and accounting reporting standards
- Preparation of a source documents file that supports the SMSF's financial reports to support the audit of the reports in line with RSM policies & procedures
- Support senior team members with management of client relationships
- Assist with administration support for SMSF clients such as scanning and managing electronic filing of documents
Desirable attributes:
- Completion or near completion of CA or equivalent
- Experience with Class Super or BGL360
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel
