Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT or payroll tax returns for individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts.
- Expert utilisation of a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
- Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analysing financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performance
- Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery
- Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
- Involving in team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience within Business Services, with strong technical skills;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar and working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications;
- A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Expertise using accounting software including APS, MYOB and cloud-based tools e.g., Xero, QuickBooks.
- Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia
