We currently have a new career opportunity to join us as anAccounts Assistantto be based at our offices in Peterborough. The role demands a dedicated and motivated individual who is focused on ensuring that all transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of Timesheets and Expenses on weekly basis
  • Prepare and process payment runs (in different currencies)
  • Cash Book control and forecasting receipts and payments
  • Petty cash reconciliations
  • Invoicing, cash postings and Customer accounts reconciliation
  • Credit card expenses processing and journal preparation
  • Month End journals and reconciliations
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • To assist in driving best practice within the business
  • Adhere to Group policies and processes within the department.
  • Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Financial Accountant
Skills and Experience
  • Experience running month end journals and reconciliations.
  • Experience dealing with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Excellent excel skills and systems understanding
  • A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment.
Specific Qualifications
  • Previous experience within an Accounts role.
  • Hold AAT level 2 or equivalent.
