Responsibilities:
This role will involve:
- Experience at Manager/ Senior level.
- Audit Experience.
- Managing a team of 6 staff members.
- Effectively managing practice client portfolio including everything from staff planning, management of WIP and billing.
- Building and further developing client relationships with existing and new clients.
- Displaying a strong commercial awareness in fee development.
- Displaying pro-active awareness of current relevant legislation, compliance standards
- Raising high quality business correspondence.
- Acting as the main point of contact for compliance queries from clients within portfolio.
- Quoting and estimating fees within your level of authority.
- Meeting clients to pitch and tender for new work and putting together associated documents.
- Business development attending new client meetings and networking events.
- Effectively delegating work to, and mentoring, the team.
- Providing feedback to junior and senior team members about quality of work/performance.
- Managing the team including monitoring work in progress and work standards.
You will have:
- Confident, articulate and an effective communicator at all levels
- Well-presented and professional
- Patience in training colleagues
- ACA/ACCA Fully Qualified with 3+ years post qualification experience
- Up to date knowledge of corporate and personal taxes
- Strong time management skills
- Previous management experience
- Commercial and proactive approach to client development
- Friendly office environment
- 9-5.30 office hours
- Parking available onsite.
