About the Company:

We are a fast-growing company providing bookkeeping services for US-based businesses. Our team is dedicated to helping our clients maintain organized financial records and make informed financial decisions. We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper with extensive experience to join our team and manage multiple client accounts.

Position Overview:

The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping for several US-based clients. This role requires extensive knowledge of US GAAP, experience in creating financial statements, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial data.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Bookkeeping Operations: Perform bookkeeping tasks using Xero and/or QuickBooks, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Create and manage financial statements according to US GAAP. Experience preparing financial statements (assume they need to have prepared at least 30 year-end financial statements in the last 12 months).
  • Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients, answering their queries and explaining financial reports in clear and understandable terms.
  • Data Organization: Ensure all financial data is organized and easily accessible, maintaining up-to-date and accurate client records.
  • Team Leadership (Nice-to-Have): Mentor junior bookkeepers and help coach others within the team if applicable.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years full-time experience as a bookkeeper.
  • At least 3 years of experience doing bookkeeping for US-based businesses. That means that any bookkeeper that has worked with Singapore companies, PH companies, UK companies, etc., is NOT what we are looking for.
  • Proficiency in Xero and/or QuickBooks. Either Xero or QB certified.
  • Extensive understanding of US GAAP.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.


Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience managing a small team or mentoring junior bookkeepers.
  • Additional certifications in accounting or bookkeeping.
