Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Controller to start as soon as possible! Ideal candidates will have between 5 - 10 years solid experience in credit control.

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate (requirement)
• Completion of credit control courses (Credit Management Levels 1, 2, and 3) is preferred
• Maintain a good credit record with no judgments or criminal record
• Good communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients, debtors, and management
• Provide good references; must be honest, reliable, and eager to work
• Team player who can collaborate effectively with a credit control team

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of various clients and their debtors (300+ debtors)
• Vet and open new accounts
• Approve credit limits
• Utilize strong collection skills through telephonic and email communications
• Achieve collection targets consistently
• Maintain a professional telephonic manner
• Write correspondence effectively; good command of the English language is essential (Afrikaans is a plus)
• Have experience with chain stores e.g (Shoprite, Makro, Woolworths, etc.)
• Familiarity with debtor insurance (e.g., Credit Guarantee)
