Reference: JHB001644-MS-1Job title: Accounting Clerk / Financial AdministrationJob purpose:To assist with bookkeeping, accounting, clerical and administrative tasks, keeping track of balance sheet items such as account receivables and account payables, and updating the senior management with the information resolving their queries.
Responsibilities:
Xero Accounting capturing and reconciling including creditors and debtors.
Payroll / time allocation of projects / shifts capturing.
Inventory control.
Project/SLA/Ad hoc costing and reporting.
Invoicing and claims in collaboration with PMs.
Keeping track of invoices and bank transactions.
Export documentation control.
Intercompany transactions.
Cash flow forecasting.
Overall checking on current systems that are in place and brainstorming of new structures.
Working directly with the external accountants providing all monthly and annual reporting for submissions to the relevant authorities.
Skills Required:
Good Communication skills
Ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and terminology.
Ability to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and find percentages.
Ability to work independently and work cooperatively with others.
Invoicing
Minimum Requirements:
Matric Certificate.
National diploma or equivalent.
Post secondary education, such as an associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Relevant work experience in support roles or internships.
Technical certifications.
Annually
