Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager to work with the project team and support the implementation of the Oracle ERP Cloud solution.

This role is a 9-12 Months FTC

The successful candidate will ensure that all parts of the solution integrate seamlessly across the whole suite. This will require experience in system integration, leading workstreams and working with others to bring together system components into a whole End-to-End solution.

You will be at the forefront of the transition from the old to the new systems, ensuring adoption of effective processes for data migration, data integrity, data security and compliance with internal and auditing controls.

Your role will lead and contribute to a wide range of work on the programme:
  • Cross system integration - Work closely with internal and external technical teams and business leads, to lead the delivery of the integrated and optimised solution.
  • Data migration - Lead the General Ledger data migration, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness. Conduct validations to provide assurance on the data relationships and data integrations across the whole solution.
  • Quality assurance - Take a lead role in planning and testing of the General ledger, validating the outputs from the User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring they are high quality, sufficient and providing assurance on the deliverables.
  • Data governance and compliance - Take a lead role in ensuring that traceable auditable evidence has been produced for all critical activities to meet audit and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder management - Act as a main point of contact between internal project leads and external consultants, building strong alignment through effective communication throughout all project phases. Lead the delivery of training, defining the content and approach.

Minimum (Essential) Criteria

  • A qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Own and lead the implementation of workstreams from a technical and operational perspectives.
  • An ability to think strategically as well as at the detailed level and drawing simple conclusions and recommendations and putting them forward to senior management.
  • A proactive self-starter who can develop and maintain effective working relationships with the programme community, the wider team, stakeholders from across the Bank and varying levels of seniority, and external suppliers.
  • Ability to challenge constructively whilst maintaining excellent working relationships within the programme community and with stakeholders.
  • Experience of working collaboratively across project and organisational boundaries to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to lead with a proactive approach, good organisational skills, highly motivated and capable of working autonomously often to tight deadlines by prioritising effectively.

Maintain a positive outlook; through practical and effective horizon scanning, anticipate risks and what is likely to emerge, spots opportunities, flexes accordingly.

Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in implementing integrated Oracle ERP solution.
  • Experience in compliance and auditing.

Experience of working in a financial service and/or regulated industry.

Salary and Benefits Information We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate.
This role offers a salary of Leeds £59,200 to £68,310 and London £65,755 to £75,870. In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below:
  • A non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/95th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/50th) or decrease (to 1/120th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year.
  • A discretionary performance award based on a current award pool.
  • A 8% benefits allowance with the option to take as salary or purchase a wide range of flexible benefits.
  • 26 days' annual leave with option to buy up to 12 additional days through flexible benefits.
  • Private medical insurance and income protection.
National Security Vetting Process Employment in this role will be subject to the National Security Vetting clearance process (and typically can take between 6 to 12 weeks post offer) and the passing of additional Bank security checks in accordance with the Bank policy.
