About The Role
As a Permanent Junior Management Accountant working for this City based leading Bank, you will be currently studying CIMA or ACCA with experience working within previous finance roles. The role sits within an established team and you will responsible for finance related activities across multiple entities. - Upload invoices.
- Review approved invoices.
- Create, review and seek authorisation for journals to be posted.
- Upload journals from other teams within the London Finance Department.
- Ensure regular payment of invoices/expenses via BACS, CHAPS for domestic & foreign currencies.
- Various reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Deal with supplier queries (mostly by E-Mail) in a professional and prompt manner.
- Monitor the shared finance mailboxes, and ensure all invoices received are processed.
- Maintain the accrual and prepayment schedule and prepare journals to assist the period close process.
- Assisting Management Accounting & Financial Control team with any month-end related queries.
- Ensure Fixed Asset records are well maintained.
- Ensure monthly depreciation, corporate allocations and revaluation have been processed.
Experience & Qualifications:
To be considered for this role of Permanent Junior Management Accountant working for this City based leading Financial Group, candidates should ideally be:
- Part-qualified - ACCA or CIMA (nearing the end of the studies)
- 1-2 years of experience working in a finance function
- Journal entry and account reconciliations knowledge
- Some previous knowledge of working on management accounts
- An organised individual who is keen to learn, has high attention to detail and the ability to build meaningful analysis
- Enjoy working with numbers and large data sets with at least an intermediate skill set level with MS Excel
- Ability to self-prioritise and manage workload
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in using SUN is highly desirable
Compensation:
The Permanent Junior Management Accountant working for this City based leading Bank offer:
Salary:
£34,000 PA - £38,000 PA.- Hybrid work pattern.
- Full study support for the ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
