Titles Searcher / Trainee Searcher
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Title Searcher or Trainee Searcher to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in producing accurate and timely Legal Reports and Remortgage Searches by analysing various internal and external sources of property and personal data.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough searches using the Registers of Scotland SCOTLIS online system to gather relevant property information, as well as reviewing internal and external data related to Inhibition, Insolvency, and company records. The goal is to ensure that any pertinent information is disclosed accurately and efficiently.
As a Title Searcher, you will be responsible for publishing daily allocations of Legal Reports and Remortgage Searches, ensuring that these reports meet the highest standards and align with business needs.
You will also assist the Titles Team Leader in responding to customer queries and resolving disputes, contributing to smooth communication and service delivery.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid understanding of title searching and/or Scottish conveyancing procedures, as well as experience working directly with customers.
You will possess strong communication skills, allowing you to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients alike. We value individuals who can thrive under pressure, manage their time effectively, and prioritize tasks to ensure productivity.
Analytical and numerical skills are essential, enabling you to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in IT systems is essential, as you will need to demonstrate a comfortable level of competency in operating and troubleshooting equipment and software used in the process.
