The company comprises a highly diverse, dynamic team of driven talented people from over twenty different countries, speaking multiple languages, with a physical footprint in Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

The role:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts.

• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights that support key business decisions.

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts.

Reporting and Dashboards:

• Create and maintain regular financial reports and dashboards for management review.

• Identify and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the company's financial health.

Variance Analysis:

• Conduct thorough variance analysis between actual results and forecasts, providing explanations for significant variances.

• Work closely with operational teams to understand key drivers behind financial performance.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and special projects.

• Generate insights to aid executive decision-making.

Financial Modelling:

• Build and maintain complex financial models to assess different business scenarios and evaluate investment opportunities.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and guidance to support business objectives.

• Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the ecommerce or startup environment.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Solid understanding of ecommerce business metrics and drivers.
