Our client in the FMCG industry is seeking a Finance and Business Operations Manager to act as a key business partner to all departments and senior management. This role is responsible for providing in-depth business performance analysis, managing the Sales & Operations Planning process, and supporting strategic initiatives.

- Team Leadership and Business Partnership:
- Lead a team of Finance and Operations analysts, collaborating with the Executive team and department heads.
- Serve as an internal business partner to provide strategic insights and support decision-making across the organization.
- Forecasting and Financial Analysis:
- Oversee monthly volume and rolling forecasts for the entire company, working closely with Key Accounts and Marketing teams, and reporting back to management.
- Perform monthly P&L forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis, covering Gross to Net Sales, COGS, Distribution, Marketing, Administration, and Selling expenses.
- Conduct seasonal analysis on volume, portfolio, and pricing, ensuring accurate tracking and insights.
- Financial Reporting and Customer Analysis:
- Compile and analyze monthly contribution statements by Customer, Brand, and Retail channels.
- Ensure accurate pricing for customers is reflected in SAP and manage any necessary updates or changes.
- Budgeting and Strategic Planning:
- Lead the Budget and Latest Estimate process within the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and financial objectives.
- Act as a back-up administrator for the business intelligence warehouse (IBM Cognos), supporting reporting and data management needs.
- Project Support and Ad-Hoc Analysis:
- Support the Executive team with various projects and ad-hoc analyses throughout the year, contributing valuable insights to strategic initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels and departments.
- Proactive and methodical, with a structured approach to identifying and completing projects.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, set clear targets, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical, with a strong capacity for financial analysis and reporting.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a financial controller or business analyst role, ideally within the FMCG sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the FMCG and/or retail industry, with insights into the confectionery segment as an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is a distinct advantage.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CIMA qualification preferred.
