Role: Payroll Advisor

Head Office - Westfield House, Sheffield

Hours: Full-Time

Contract: 12 Months Maternity Cover

Experience: Prior Payroll experience is essential

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be supporting the facilitation of an efficient and effective payroll service.

The role:

Processing of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Processing New Starter information
• Entering P45/New Starter Information
• Raising P45’s
• Creating new accounts within the payroll system
• Answering calls and resolving any queries
• Monitoring and responding to emails
• Dealing with invoice queries
• Running and checking weekly reports
• Adhering to deadlines

The successful Payroll Advisor will have/be:

• Payroll experience
• Ideally have Salesforce experience and a basic understanding of Excel
• Good organsiational and time management skills
• Good attention to detail
• Calm, self-motivated and customer orientated
• Able to work with verbal and numerical issues
• Able to respond to queries (verbal and written) effectively and efficiently, providing detailed responses
• Proactive, conscientious and has a can-do attitude
• A team player and be able to work independently
