Operations Analyst - Financial Services
Based in Central Glasgow | hybrid working available
Full Time role | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
1 year temp contract | potential for the role to become permanent
Pay rate of up to 14.50 per hour + holiday pay (depending on experience)

Search are delighted to be recruiting this role on behalf of one of our longest-standing and well sought after clients within the Financial Services Sector. The role will be worked on an ongoing temporary contract basis for a minimum of one year, with strong potential for the role to become permanent.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing comprehensive Transactional back-office support, risk mitigation & relationship management across the firm's clients.

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Daily work on the Derivatives Clearing side of the business
* Carrying out risk management of margins, market events, derivatives & trade events
* Stakeholder management to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
* Extensive administration duties across the client base
* Liaising with clients & both internal & external stakeholders ensuring the best possible service is provided at all times, managing any client issues to a successful resolution
* Educating clients on the company's systems & encouraging the use of self-service tools
* Various other operational & administrative duties as required

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Previous experience within a back-office operations or client service role from within a professional or financial services business - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* Candidates with experience in Trades, Derivatives and OTC Clearing would be preferred - although this is not essential
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels of business
* Excellent organisations skills with the ability to manage a busy workload effectively
* Solid IT Skills including solid skills on both Word & Excel
