We're looking for an enthusiastic and go getting individual to take on the role of Accounts Assistant in the amazing city of Leeds! In this role you will have the opportunity to grow with AAT training and will give you the chance to work around professionals with extensive knowledge of the industry.
Day to day you will be expected to carry out roles such as posting supplier invoices both for approval and onto the ledger, raising PO's for approval and placing orders with suppliers, ensuring purchase orders are complete with all required reporting information prior to invoicing. You will also be responsible for managing the department invoices, matching purchase invoices, updating inter company systems as orders are placed and invoiced, assisting with the weekly payment run and issuing remittances and supporting the management accountant where required.
If this sounds like a role that would suit you, you would need the following to be considered:
Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Previous experience in purchase ledger or similar finance role.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience using Excel to a high quality.
Ability to work well in a team and to be able to communicate effectively. What's on offer:
Competitive salary of £23,000 - £26,000 a year.
