Job Overview
Plan and carry out audit assignments to a wide variety of clients
Ensure the audit team are on track and completing audit work within the allocated timetable
Communicate to the clients on a regular basis on the progress of the audit and meet with them to discuss audit related matters
Advice clients on areas of business improvements
Maintain professional and technical knowledge in all areas
Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. Along with being responsible for discussing the results with the clients either in person or over the phone.
Involvement in statutory audits, including being involved in planning the audit, leading the audit fieldwork and completion of files for manager review.
Requirements:
Suitable candidates will be fully ACCA/ACA qualified - ideally
Experience carrying out audits - from planning through to completion
Previous experience working in accountancy practice environments is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Driving license required in order to travel to clients' premises
Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns.
Preparation and review of VAT returns.
