NLB Solutions are working with a business in Luton to recruit a Billing Team Leader. The role reports into the Billing Manager, the successful candidate will assist with the supervision of the Billing Administrations to ensure processes are followed and deadlines are met.
The company has relocated to newly furnished premises with free parking. The role will report to the Billing Manager, previous experience within Billing, supervising a team and worked in a fast-paced environment. In return the company will offer a competitive salary, based in their offices full time, working 9am to 5pm.
Duties:
* Lead and mentor the Billing Team to prioritise their workloads to meet deadlines
* Assisting the Billing Manager with ad-hoc requests and managing the team in their absence
* Prepare and complete all sales invoices for service users
* Check the daily accuracy of the sales information
* Creating new contracts for billing
* Contract amendments in accordance with internal document requests
* Generation and checking of billing runs in accordance with timetables
* To ensure the month end procedures and deadlines are followed
* To check information received from Managers is accurate and that rates are correct
* To provide assistance at the Year End audit
* Internal audit compliance
* Query resolution
Person Spec:
* Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbally
* Excellent issue resolution skills
* Analytical with high attention to detail
* Detailed knowledge of accounting and IT systems.
* Flexible, punctual and able to prioritise workload to meet multiple deadlines on a daily basis
* Flexible in working within the duties of the role and working hours, in order to meet deadlines
* Uses own initiative and can work independently and as part of a small team
* Takes responsibility for own work
* Excellent presentational skills for all correspondence, letters, presentations and data
* Understands and implements processes
* Demonstrates an “investigative” and “can do” approach and attitude to all tasks
* Able to identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to resolve
