Client Loss Fund Manager

Kennedys is looking for an Client Loss Fund Manager to join our Commercial Claims handling Team.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Claims Handling Leadership Team and reporting into the Head Claims Handling and the Claims Partner.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team with excellent long term progression opportunities. As part of the role you will be a facilitator who is expected to liaise and work with internal stakeholders to ensure better internal communication and completion of projects. You will play an active role in all aspects of service level requirements and assist in the day to day management of the claims handling team.
You will be able to work from home frequently with travel to the Taunton office at least once a month for our team anchor day.

We deal with a wide class of business types which include; Solicitors' Professional Indemnity, Architects and other Construction Professionals, Accountants, Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), Medical Malpractice, Cyber, Legal Expenses, Latent Defects, Before the Event/After the Event (BTE/ATE) claims and many more.

- Experience in office administration
- Ability to organise and synchronise activities, resources, and people to achieve common goals. Ensure that a tasks are assigned, deadlines are met and communication flows throughout the team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and internal stakeholders
- Team Player who demonstrates collaborative skills; flexible in problem solving, and supportive of team members
- Has experience in dealing with client loss funds, which also involves dealing with payments, requesting top-ups and actioning third party payments and queries
- Has experience in preparing and analysing claims bordereaux.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to drive process improvements
- Delivering and improving accounting practices and driving operational efficiencies.
- Assisting with client billing, debt management and cash collections
- Client Loss fund management, including undertaking weekly and monthly account reconciliation.
- Work alongside Client Reporting & Insights Team.
- Client and team event management
- Work alongside Head of Claims Handling and the Claims Partner to provide administrative and scheduling support
