We are looking for a Corporate Finance Analyst to assist with financial modeling, investment data room and investor materials, in preparation for our next fundraise. You will work directly with the CFO, liaise with other departments with a view to market the investment opportunity to a wide range of investors.

Role overview:
We are looking for a Corporate Finance Analyst to assist with financial modeling, investment data room and investor materials, in preparation for our next fundraise. You will work directly with the CFO, liaise with other departments with a view to market the investment opportunity to a wide range of investors.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
- Work with the CFO to produce financial models adequate for prospective investors to assess the investment opportunity
- Attend investor meetings, conferences and events
- Work with the CFO to update investor materials, including teasers, presentations, due diligence materials
- Liaise with other functions within Finance to provide detailed and meaningful answers to investor queries on an ongoing basis
- Maintain and update investor CRM
- Work with the CFO, Growth and the Business to improve the budget framework, propose and validate changes/improvements to the forecasting methodology
- Investor reports (quarterly reporting), internal presentations (e.g., Townhall)
Requirements
- Prior experience as a financial analyst in Investment Banks or a leading consulting practice (i.e., McKinsey) with at least 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Proven experience of financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills, with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A self starter who has the ability to work independently on a range of different tasks whilst dealing with ambiguity and conforming to tight deadlines.
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data effectively to generate key data driven insights.
- Experience communicating key data driven insights and analysis with internal and external stakeholders in a concise and accurate manner.
- Ability to solve complex problems intuitively utilizing analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (good) or Google Sheets (preferred) and Microsoft PowerPoint (Google Slides)
- Keen interest and/or exposure to Emerging Markets
Nice to have:
- Previous experience within the fintech or banking sector.
- Professional certification or working towards(ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Advanced data analysis.
- Prior experience/interest in Emerging Markets, preferably Africa
- Experience utilizing BI tools such as Looker, Power BI etc.
