JOB TITLE:
Junior Accounts Assistant
ROLE TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
LOCATION:
Hertfordshire
HOURS/DAYS (per week): Mon - Fri (37.5 hours per week), 9am - 5.30pm
SALARY RANGE: £25,000 to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
NOTICE & PROBATION PERIODS: 6 month probation, 3 months' notice period
BENEFITS/BONUSES/HOLIDAYS: 28 days holiday pa pro-rata (inc. bank holidays), increasing 1 per year after 5 yrs service. Monthly social events. Ongoing training and personal development plans. Full study package.

For this vacancy, they're looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join one of their supportive teams, working within a team of 5 servicing a high growth client.
JOB ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
Working within a close-knit team, the successful Junior Accounts Assistant will work in this company's Head Office, completing tasks such as:
- Issuing of sales invoices
- Entering purchase invoices
- Reconciling supplier accounts
- Approving expenses
- Bank reconciliations
- Monitoring client emails
- Month end journals inc. prepayments, depreciation
KEY SKILLS:
- Good problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated/proactive with strong initiative and willingness to take ownership and responsibility of their own work
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- A desire to develop good technical accounting knowledge
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to swiftly adapt to change
ANY SPECIFIC TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Candidates will be required to complete ability and judgement tests during the interview process
- AAT Level 4, with 1 years' experience
- AAT Level 3, with 2 years' experience
- Must have Full UK Right to Work (No sponsorships will be provided)
