The Treasury Management Officer will support Relationship Managers/Officer in identifying new treasury management revenue sources and supporting the retention of existing clients. This role will be responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales and retention goals, selling Treasury Management services, providing company analysis, and technical support in the Treasury Management department.

The Treasury Management Officer will support Relationship Managers/Officer in identifying new treasury management revenue sources and supporting the retention of existing clients. This role will be responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales and retention goals, selling Treasury Management services, providing company analysis, and technical support in the Treasury Management department.
What you'll do in this "A" Team role:
- Meet or exceed individual sales and retention goals adhering to corporate, legal, and regulatory policies, guidelines, and requirements regarding compliance.
- Independently expand existing relationships and solicit new business through client referrals and cold calling efforts to meet or exceed the Bank's strategic goals.
- Generate new Treasury Management revenue sources.
- Resolve treasury management operational problems requiring identification of cause and implementation of corrective action with Treasury Management staff or other departments.
- Conduct on-site sales and service meetings with complex Treasury Management clients for identification and integration of multiple services.
- Acts as a consultant to prospects, clients, and officers to develop and implement Treasury Management systems.
- Prepare and negotiate complex Treasury Management service proposals.
- Independently complete agreements and correspondence with clients.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for calling clients.
- Participate in the development of marketing and training materials.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Treasury Management products offered by the Bank and the processes for delivering these services.
- Other duties as assigned by Bank leadership.
What's required of this role for you to join the Intracoastal "A" team
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years in sales of treasury management products, selling processes, and vendor interaction within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Treasury Management products and solutions and corporate sales processes.
- Proven track record of business development and supporting growth of client relationships within the financial services industry.
- Ability to be subject matter expert and, using technical knowledge of products, effectively influence obtaining agreement with recommendations.
- Ability to identify critical issues and interdependencies among system elements that impact products and performance.
- Must be ambitious, highly motivated, and a self-starter with the ability to meet and exceed established sales goals.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit; talk or hear, both in person and by phone; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms. Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with multiple variables.
- Ability to prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style.
- Ability to communicate at panel discussions and make professional presentations.
