You will be responsible for reviewing tax returns each season, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Their clients come from a close-knit, small-town background, so understanding and connecting with them is key.

Salary: $120,000.00 - 130,000 / year

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Seaford, Delaware

What you will get to do:

• Review and conduct quality checks on tax returns each season
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal client outcomes
• Collaborate with partners and other team members to drive firm growth and success
• Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and fostering professional growth
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and goal

You will bring these qualifications:
Experience Level: Senior - Level Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation or relevant field is preferred.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License: Active CPA license in good standing
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in tax preparation and review
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Proficient in tax preparation software and accounting software (Ultratax)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide strategic tax planning advice
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff

• Strong sense of ethics and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to professional standards
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in tax preparation and review

Shift & Schedule: Monday - Friday, in Office.
