Introduction
Wellknown Private Wealth company is looking for a Offshore Trade Reconciliations Assistant for a 7 month Fixed Term Contract.

The Trade Assistant will assist the Offshore Team in processing and resolving bank reconciliations breaks, along with investigating unsettled trades.

This is a 7 month fixed term contract.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Investigate unsettled currency conversion trades processed on the back-office administration system.
  • Process entries to resolve bank reconciliation breaks.
  • Process cash payments, fees and invoices for payments as required.
  • Liaise with counterparty contacts, internal stakeholders and third-party service providers (where necessary) to resolve reconciliation breaks.
  • Prepare reporting on offshore bank reconciliations for management reporting.
  • Respond to queries from business regarding bank reconciliations.
  • Communicate reconciliation breaks and issues that may impact trading and client reporting to other operations divisions and business.
  • Participate in improvement initiatives and projects in the team, business unit and companywide as required.
  • Update and maintain process documentation (eg. standard operating procedures, checklists) for reconciliation function.


Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Atleast 2-3 years experience in Offhsore Bank reconsiliations.
  • Strong undertsnding of Private Clients Business and stock-broking.
  • Experience using Back Office adminsitartion systems
