This role is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, supplier reconciliations, and prompt payments for both operational and capital expenditures (CAPEX/OPEX).
• Manage vendor processes in line with the Schedule of Authority, focusing on workflow, procurement, and process automation.
• Lead the accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate reconciliation of sales and banking transactions for restaurants, including franchise billing.
• Manage the collection of weekly sales data from franchisees.
• Handle AR collections, ensuring adherence to company policies and minimizing financial losses related to AP processes.
• Generate financial reports to aid in management decision-making and risk mitigation.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize AP and AR processes, including automation and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with various departments to meet financial control objectives set by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BCom in Accounting/Finance qualification is required.
• At least 4 years of commercial experience.
• Background in the FMCG or Retail sectors is preferred.
