Overview of the Tax Accountant Opportunity:

Using tax preparation software, prepare the federal consolidated and all state unitary and separate company income tax returns
Assist with preparation of supporting analysis and work papers for the Company's quarterly and annual ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109) schedules and with preparation of Forms 5471 for foreign subsidiaries
Prepare and maintain various schedules and work papers needed to document and support positions taken in the Company's income tax returns.
Monitor and reconcile income/franchise tax accounts on a monthly basis, or more frequently as required
Calculate and prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and annual extensions
Provide assistance with income tax audit queries, and research and respond to income tax notices

Qualifications of the Tax Accountant:

Experience in a corporate environment preferred
Experience with using tax preparation software, familiarity with tax research tools and source material
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 3 years of experience with corporate income tax compliance required
