The Treasury Services Operations Manager will oversee operational activities for Bryant Bank's Treasury Management Operations departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures effective and efficient operations support for all of Bryant Bank's customers, while providing quality service.
- Provides the same level of high quality and responsive support to internal colleagues/customers/business partners using subject matter expertise.
- Administers Bank policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Leads the review and recommendation of enhancements or changes to operational systems and procedures affecting Treasury Management Operations and Treasury Management Sales; coordinates major system conversions or updates from an operation's perspective with Information Technology, Information Security and other key business partners and departments.
- Provides leadership in partnering with commercial banking officers and other department heads to assist in selling treasury management services to their customers.
- Reviews activity trends and other applicable tracking metrics used to monitor performance and income of the various treasury management and deposit servicing functions.
- Ensures collaboration with the Security Department to report suspicious and/or fraudulent activity.
- Typically oversees all Treasury Management operational and customer support segments for the Bank (i.e. Treasury Management/Cash Management online banking, automated clearing house file processing, call center customer support, positive pay, online wire processing, remote deposit capture installations and ongoing support, account analysis, officer training, legal contracts, new product discovery, implementation and ongoing support, operational risk management, fraud loss mitigation, and policy and procedure maintenance).
- Identifies and evaluates banking automation opportunities, industry efficiency trends and strategic technology enhancement opportunities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency with NACHA rules and guidelines.
- Strong working knowledge of Treasury Management products and services.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to embrace change while developing and implementing process enhancements along with identifying new products.
Education/Certifications:
- Preference given to candidates with a bachelor's degree, Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, and/or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation.
Experience:
- Five years of relevant, progressively responsible work experience in treasury management operations at a financial institution to include at least 1-3 years management experience.
