Accounts Manager - Hybrid Role at Steer Automotive
Steer Automotive, a leading company in the automotive accident repair industry, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, providing flexibility while managing critical financial processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Line Management:
* Lead and mentor a team of 4 employees, ensuring efficient workflows and team development.
Key Financial Tasks:
* Daily management of bank payments, including processing and posting receipts and payments.
* Oversee payment run preparation and track debit card purchases for accurate financial records.
* Manage the finance inbox and maintain smooth operation by overseeing system parameters.
* Reconcile intercompany balances to ensure accuracy across Steer Automotive's locations.
* Ensure all banks are posted and matched in the system for timely reporting.
* Submit accurate bank reconciliations and manage intercompany recharges and payments.
* Perform thorough VAT checks and prepare supplier accruals for month-end reports.
Requirements:
* Must hold AAT Level 4 qualification.
* Proven experience in financial operations and team leadership, ideally within the automotive or accident repair industry.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
