Full Job DescriptionWe are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join our clients dynamic finance team at their Wrexham Head Office. In this role, you will provide essential support and play a pivotal role within the finance function.
The Job
As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for a broad range of financial tasks and projects, including but not limited to:
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the company’s financial statements.
* Managing pre-payments and accruals, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
* Overseeing cashflow management to ensure the company’s liquidity and financial health is maintained.
* Producing the month-end accounting pack, ensuring all reports and documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
* Maintaining fixed asset records and ensuring they are appropriately accounted for.
* Manage inter-company accounts, including performing inter-company reconciliations to ensure transparency across all accounts.
* Managing invoicing and performing bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
What you Need
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Relevant experience in a similar accounting role.
* AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (candidates with other relevant qualifications will also be considered).
* Experience using Sage 50 accounting software is highly desirable.
* Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide clear insight.
