Financial Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for the accurate recording and processing of all financial data
- Ensure the accuracy of data that is processed
- Ensure that all supporting documentation is complete and in accordance with company policies and procedures and relevant statutory regulations
- Monthly payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accounts payable and receivable data
- Asset register and fixed assets data processing
- Compilation of monthly returns required by DMRE and SARS
- Establishing good working relationship with co workers
- Manage and Assist staff members
- Monitor and report on costs across various departments
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements as directed
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries
Qualifications:
- Matric
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- No Criminal Record
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Mining environment
- MS Dynamics or similar
- Full MS office suite
- Complete articles/trainee accountant
- Extensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
