Are you an outgoing, detail-focused Cost Accountant with strong experience in manufacturing? Join our team in Rosslyn, Pretoria, where your expertise in cost analysis, procurement, and supply chain management will support critical business decisions and impact production costs directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost & Procurement Analysis: Perform detailed cost analysis, monitor procurement expenses, and assess the impact of costs on product pricing and overall business operations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, track actual costs against forecasts, and analyze variances.
• Inventory & Asset Verification: Verify BOMs and WIPs to ensure accurate cost allocations for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Costing Models & Variance Analysis: Apply strong knowledge of costing models to conduct variance analysis and support financial decision-making.
• Supply Chain Management: Utilize your knowledge of supply chain operations to identify efficiencies and support cost reduction strategies within the plant.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: NDip/BCom in Finance, Supply Chain, or related field. A CIMA qualification (or progress toward it) is highly beneficial.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in cost accounting, with strong experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, in-depth understanding of costing models, procurement analysis, and variance analysis.
• Personality: Outgoing, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
