Introduction and requirements
Position: Creditors Clerk
Area: Goodwood, Cape Town
Work model: In Office
Salary: R15K - R20K based on proven experience.
Employment type: Permanent
Our very well-established client with a national presence is looking for a dynamic Creditors Clerk to join their team.
The purpose of the role is to process invoices, reconcile vendor payments and perform administrative function.
Focus areas include Sundry Payments and Creditor Payments.
Min requirements:
· Grade 12 (must have)
· A financial diploma or degree would be a great adv.
· VAT knowledge (should have working knowledge of when input vat can or cannot be claimed)
· Accounting and finance (candidate will be expected to have a sound understanding of journals - debits and credits - and the difference between an expense item and capital expenditure - assets.
· Experience with projects and audits would be pref.
· Must be a good communicator and understand Afrikaans fairly well.
Computer literacy:
· Excel - medium to advanced level. The candidate will be required to perform lookups and prepare data for interpretations and / or analysis.
· Candidate should be able to perform basic calculations as well as “VLOOKUP”, “if” “sort” and “Filter” as well as “pivot table” functions.
