A well-established financial institution based in Cape Town is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Manager to join their team

Salary: Market related Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12
• NQF Level 7 or Higher in a Financial or Banking related field essential
• CIMA, Credit management degree or equivalent will be advantageous
• 2-5 years experience in a credit management environment, preferably in commercial finance
• Experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment

Competencies:

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non technical stakeholders
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all modelling activities
• Passion for innovation and staying ahead of emerging trends in data science and credit automation
• A self-starter, able to take initiative and drive models from concept to implementation while ensuring usability across teams
