Job Title:
Management Accountant
Hours of Work: 8am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break
Location:
Shrewsbury, SY4 4RR
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a management accountant who will be reliable and work well within a dynamic and friendly team. This role will add value through the individual’s capability to collaborate relevant financial and non-financial information to aid in management decision making.
The post holder will be the first POC for day-to-day queries for RVT, assist and own delivery of the budget process, prepare the management accounts, assist and own the year end audit and provide high quality information. You will be confident working independently, be a well-developed communicator, self-motivated and can multitask to a high degree.
Responsibilities
* Month end/year end processing
* Management accounts to first draft for presentation
* Budget tasks ownership
* Audit tasks ownership
* Misc reporting as required
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Depot reporting packs
* Business Partnering
Candidate Requirements
* 5+ years finance experience
* Studying/Qualified CIMA or other equivalent
* Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to trouble shoot effectively
* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,)
* A high level of proficiency in Excel is a requirement to be successful in this role
* Business Partnering capability - getting things done through others
