Are you a qualified Chartered Accountant seeking your first or second move from practice? Do you have a passion for technical excellence and an interest in working within a dynamic, international environment?
We are looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join our fast-growing client’s team, providing essential financial services and contributing to the continued success and expansion of the group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be part of a central finance team based at their headquarters in South Manchester.
Key
Responsibilities:
Manage the year-end consolidation and annual reports for the PLC and subsidiaries
Monthly statutory accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow
Collaborate with auditors, external accountants, and tax advisors across multiple countries
Supervise the preparation of IFRS 16 lease accounts
Prepare and write technical papers for IFRS 15 and capitalisation of employee costs to projects
Offer technical support and guidance to the transactional and management accounting team
THE CANDIDATE
ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant
Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation
Proficient/advanced Excel skills
Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous
High energy, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
