Keeler Recruitment is working with a reputable and growing company in Norfolk to find a talented Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The Role:

As the Assistant Accountant, you'll provide crucial support to the finance team, handling a variety of tasks such as:

Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Processing invoices, payments, and expense claims
Maintaining accurate financial records and performing reconciliations
Supporting VAT returns and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
Helping prepare end-of-year accounts and audits
Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders on financial matters
Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a similar role (Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or similar)

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Proficient in accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)

Advanced Excel skills with a high attention to detail

Ability to work independently and within a team

Studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA (preferred but not essential)
