PURPOSE STATEMENT

Manage product costings (pricing) for new business to drive sustainable profitable growth.

Provide timely, informative, and proactive analysis and insight to support the decision-making needs of the F’real business.

Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Service Organisation (ESO) to ensure timely, accurate, robust, and relevant analysis is provided to support the business in maximising commercial and supply chain opportunities.

Key Accountabilities/Outcomes

  • Manage new business costings through the NPD gate process
  • Business Partner to the Head of F'real and their team providing support on F'real pricing, promotional activity, product profitability, along with insight into the cradle to grave analysis of maintaining the F’real asset estate to optimize cost to serve.
  • Responsible for the accuracy, compliance and understanding of F’Real financial performance to include detailed variance analysis for actuals, Flash and AOP along with corrective action plans
  • Support the FP&A Manager by providing commentary and insight on the F’ Real business performance in line with WHQ reporting timetable
  • Develop accurate scenario planning models, based upon realistic assumptions, to provide the financial analysis required to support investment decisions (capital investment, warranties, third party manufacturing etc.)
  • Manage process for approval of standard cost updates including maintaining Standard Costs in D365 for all 3 BUs.
  • Develop positive working relationships with the ESO and Supply Chain CoE, point of contact for query resolution.
  • Liaison between the business and the ESO on overhead spend for all product categories, ensure that all relevant accruals and prepayments are made timely and the accounts are a true and fair reflection of spend.
  • Support the businesses AOP [Annual Operating Plan], and monthly Flash forecast processes relating to manufacturing costs and SG&A. Clearly explain business and financial drivers behind key movements and work closely with departmental budget holders on developing corrective courses of action to ensure the business exceeds its financial objectives.
  • Finance SME for SalesForce.
  • Support global financial transformation initiatives as appropriate.
  • Create an environment that fosters financial awareness and empowerment with non-finance associates.
  • Provide support to internal and external audits, supporting a robust control environment.
  • Compliance with Rich Products Limited Health and Safety policies and procedures, always.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 3 years work experience of Finance acquired within the FMCG sector (manufacturing/distribution/retailing) with exposure to standard costing.
  • Part-qualified or passed finalist CIMA/ACCA.
  • Experience of pricing/costings in the FMCG or manufacturing sector highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience of building relationships across all levels of the organisation including interaction with an external shared service centre.
  • Able to prioritize and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Operates with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail, recognising the impact of inaccurate master data.
  • Solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work at pace and cope with ambiguity.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office packages (Excel VLOOKUP’s, SumIfs, pivot tables).
  • Experience of SAP4/HANA or Microsoft D365 advantageous.
