The role would suit a nearly or newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA commercially minded individual who is looking for a hands on role within an SME environment, adding ample value to the wider business.

Responsibilities include:

Production of monthly management accounts
Understanding variances and providing insightful commentary on performance
Lead in the month end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with the production of the annual statutory accounts and year end audit
Development of financial models
Finance business partnering across multiple departments
Ownership of the cashflow forecasting process
Assisting with the management of junior team members
Ongoing process improvements and efficiencies
Ad hoc project work and supporting future growth of the business
