Accounts Assistant | £26,000 - £30,000 | Wigan | High-growth SME | End-to-end exposure
Axon Moore delighted to be partnering with a high-growth SME in Wigan to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant able to take the lead with all things transactional finance in a permanent, office-based role boasting a tremendous working culture.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Processing purchase invoices
Supplier statement reconciliation
Payment runs
Bank reconciliations
Bank postings
Month end journals
Ownership of company credit card and petty cash
Sales ledger cover i.e. cash counting, receipting, etc.
Support with direct debit process
Resolving queries and inbox management
Required Experience and Skills:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
Good IT and MS Excel skills
Hard-working, self-motivated and driven by success
Benefits:

40 hour week (8am-5pm w/ 1 hour lunch)
