We are a specialist Management Consultancy based in Sheffield focusing on Finance ERP digital transformation and technology enabled change. Our team works with broad range of clients that include Central and Local Government, not for profit, charity and industries in the private sector. Our team works from strategy through to implementation of programs to improve efficiency, reduce costs and create value for our clients. We provide the full end-to-end change support for our clients whether they want to improve their technology solutions and the processes behind them, upgrade to cloud solutions, or change from one software provider to another.
We are seeking a CIMA Business Consultant with a finance focus with possibly 1-2 years of professional work experience. We are looking for someone who is naturally analytical, a creative thinker and someone who is comfortable in a demanding client facing role. You will have a growth mindset, a professional approach and excellent presentation skills in order to facilitate discussions, lead workshops and write structured business reports. Ideally you will have studied subjects relating to Finance, Economics, Science, Maths or IT. To be successful in this role, you will use data analysis, financial modelling, industry research and analysis and communication skills to enable strategic decisions and deliver meaningful change.
The role is hybrid (3 days a week in the Sheffield city centre office) and may require some travel across the UK from time to time.
What will I be doing in this role?
- Supporting on a range of finance ERP client projects giving you immediate exposure to technical complexities and problem solving opportunities, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Over time you will be guided to lead, manage and deliver your own client projects
- Contributing to strategic finance ERP advisory projects by conducting research, analysing data, and providing insights to help clients make informed decisions about the impact of technology and change
- You will be exposed to developing your skills through mentoring in areas such as consulting, stakeholder engagement, project management and business analytics
- Attending client meetings and presenting both virtually and in person, taking notes and actions and preparing necessary materials
What would a successful candidate look like?
- Excellent command of the English language in order to write coherent, structured and concise business reports and analysis
- A desire to study professional finance related qualifications (CIMA)
- A polished and confident presenter - articulate, clear, concise with presence
- Positive demeanour, proactive, can do, solution-seeking attitude
- Delivering results within tight deadlines and always go the extra mile when required
- A technology solutions orientated individual with a love of finance, data and analytics through automation, computer programming, financial analysis and reporting.
- An understanding that our clients are our priority. We always want to exceed expectations.
- A constant awareness of the commercial purpose of your role in terms of utilisation and billable time.
- Be commercially astute in understanding business operations and identifying business development opportunities as well as an awareness of the world around you and impact to our business.
