Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform internal audits including identifying control weaknesses and making recommendations to strengthen anti-fraud controls.
- Manage audits ensuring that the engagements are completed in time; within budget and to client satisfaction, through effective and efficient people and resources management.
- Performing assignments from beginning to end without the necessary supervision, planning through to distribution of reports whilst ensuring high quality/standard of audit programs, working papers, documentary evidence, and audit reports.
- Ensure adherence and compliance to prescribed internal audit controls, procedures, and policies.
- To ensure timely collation of the audit file and submission of the audit report.
- To exercise a ‘Value for money' audit approach and to contribute to ongoing improvements to in control, risk and governance standards and the audit approach.
- Person should possess self-discipline and be prepared to travel.
- Must be in possession with an Internal Audit tertiary qualification ISO 9001:2018
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in position
- You must be able to demonstrate through previous achievements that you are of superior potential, are proactive and that you possess an inquisitive demeanor with an understanding of and a passion for improving risk, control, and governance.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be a good communicator with all levels of staff and management with an ability to listen, be practical and to influence.
- Disciplined and systematical.
- Flexibility and capability of performing assignments across diverse environments.
- Must have a drive for self-improvement.
- Must have good report writing skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization, clients etc
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and legal principles applicable to the industry.
