DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSIS:
As the Group Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial management of multiple group companies, ensuring compliance, financial health, and driving strategic initiatives. As a key member of the leadership team, you will mentor, guide, and upskill your team while improving financial processes and ensuring the organization meets its growth and operational goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BCom degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 10 years of experience in senior finance roles, preferably in the manufacturing, mining, OEM, or similar industries.
• Experience with Kerridge or similar ERP systems highly beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of financial consolidations, stock management, imports, and leadership of finance teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee financial operations for group companies, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering continuous improvement.
• Handle financial group consolidations and monthly reporting.
• Drive cash control and risk minimization strategies.
• Collaborate on high-level decisions concerning policy, strategy, and business development.
• Ensure timely filing of legal and regulatory documents, maintaining full compliance.
• Manage banking operations including payments, foreign transfers, and bank reconciliations.
• Process and oversee statutory returns: VAT, EMP201, EMP501, and income tax submissions.
• Review management accounts, analyze financial data, and prepare audit packs.
• Manage the group's debtors book, ensuring accuracy in intercompany reconciliations.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date asset register for the group.
