ABOUT THE TEAM
The finance team at TFG provides the highest level of financial support and expertise across the entire business, both within central finance and specific business areas. This role is with the Cellular (hi) and Value Added Services area. The environment consists of 5 different business areas that are in different stages of business growth, many at the early stages of exciting new projects that will deliver enhanced business value to the TFG group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth commercial analysis and insights into business performance, identifying underlying trends and offering critical evaluation to drive improvements.
- Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis by reviewing financial results and industry reports, assessing the strategic implications for the business.
- Develop and present visualizations of financial insights (e.g., graphs, PowerPoint presentations) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Establish and maintain a framework for tracking key KPIs across business areas and overall company performance.
- Perform financial modeling to evaluate the viability of new business ideas and assess the profitability of existing initiatives.
- Prepare detailed supporting information for business cases and capital expenditure (CapEx) requests.
- Manage and document the process for new projects, ensuring proper execution and adherence to established guidelines.
- Monitor and report on the actual performance of approved projects against projected outcomes.
- Conceptualize, design, and efficiently execute financial projects aligned with business goals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of both the business environment and the broader external factors affecting the company.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with the ability to create clear, understandable visual presentations.
- Balance financial rigor with an entrepreneurial mindset, using data to support and drive growth initiatives while demonstrating strong analytical skills.
Qualification and Experience
- Chartered accountant or similar
- A minimum of 5 years experience years' experience (Essential)
- Experienced in report building & financial modelling
- Demonstrable experience in data analysis & insights
- Advanced use of Excel & Intermediate Powerpoint
- Experience with BI tools advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
