Introduction
Dosco Precision Hydraulics is a member of Hudaco group and has been a leading supplier of hydraulics pumps and motors since 1989. We specialise in OEM-specified component remanufacturing. We are looking for well presented and motivated individual to join our team as Finance Manager.

Desired Experience and Qualification
  • BCompt with Articles or equivalent
  • Accounting and AFS review experience
  • Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Manufacturing costing
  • FOREX and Financials
  • Knowledge of SYSPRO


Brief Description of Key Areas of Responsibilities
Treasury management
  • Assurance that all Working Capital related transactions, reconciliations, and reporting are accounted for accurately, completely and reported on time for the Hydraulic Cluster.
  • Optimisation of the working capital cycle.
  • Day to day management of the debtors and creditors departments.
  • Build relationships and negotiate with suppliers and customers.
  • Assist in compiling an approved Hydraulic Cluster supplier list.
  • Cash management.
  • Preparation of monthly cashflow forecasts.
  • Preparation of budgets.
  • Monitoring stock and providing guidance on stock optimisation strategies.
  • Ensure that FEC cover is obtained on foreign liabilities with Group Treasury.
  • Assist with branch audits.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring and support to all direct reports to ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure team key deliverables are met on time and are accurate.
  • Ensure that internal controls are functioning effectively.
  • Update internal controls for changes in the business.
  • Manage all stakeholder expectations appropriately and communicate any potential issues.
  • Liaise with financial institutions and build working relationships with key banks in line with Group Treasury.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure that all accounting is in line with IFRS and the Group's accounting policies.


General responsibilities
  • Assist the Financial Director in key projects for the Hydraulic Cluster.
  • Development of an Internal Controls Framework for the Hydraulic Cluster with senior financial management.
