Introduction
Our client based in Durban is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Ensuring sound and effective financial management by effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Building solid relationships with customers, suppliers, auditors, legal, financial institutions, etc.
• Developing strategic operational implementation plans aligned to strategic objectives (Business Planning Management) that includes medium-term business plans.
• Providing accurate and reliable financial information, including monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, completing of financial packs and tax computations.
• Business improvement initiation and implementation, in line with legislative changes (IFRS, SARS, SARB).
• Effective and efficient reporting to enable strategic decision-making.
• Effective people management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Degree in Accounting or similar - with articles
• Previous supervisory experience
• Previous experience as a Financial Accountant
