Purpose of the role
To provide support to the existing finance team during a busy period due to an ERP project, peak and year-end. Assist with accounts preparation, reporting, invoicing, pricing and general duties in finance. Provide support to the management team in commercial, analysis and other reporting activities.

Salary:
£26,000 - £28,000 DOE
If you have..
- AAT or equivalent accountancy qualification (part qualified also accepted)
- Equivalent of GCSE Maths and English grades A to C
- A high level of numeracy and literacy with attention to detail
and you are..
- Competent in Excel, including pivot tables and building models
- Able to plan and organise your own activities to meet shared goals and targets for delivery
- Able to communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues and question assumptions
- Resilient and adaptable to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Able to work at pace while ensuring data accuracy and administrative excellence
- Knowledgeable of ERP/accounting systems

Purpose of the role
To provide support to the existing finance team during a busy period due to an ERP project, peak and year-end. Assist with accounts preparation, reporting, invoicing, pricing and general duties in finance. Provide support to the management team in commercial, analysis and other reporting activities.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Month-end - Invoicing/accruals/credits/balance sheet recs
- Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills
- Entering financial information into the ERP system (Navision)
- Assisting with forecasts and volume information
- Completing year-end analysis
- Shared responsibility for daily cashbook reconciliations
- Supporting with stock takes
- Supporting pricing
- Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements
- Creation, maintenance and development of reports that turn data into information useful for management that informs them in order to assist with decision making
