Senior Account Manager - Warehousing and Distribution

Our client is one of the UK’s leading customer communications agencies, renowned for creating and delivering print and digital communications with well known, global brands. They are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead the warehousing and distribution service for one of their key accounts.
As Senior Account Manager you will be required to act as the service delivery interface between both the in-house client service and operational teams and the Client, as well as to providing operational insight and problem solving through business-as-usual activities
The ideal candidate will have strong numerical analysis skills and the ability to work with, present and interpret data in relation to client owned stock, so advanced Excel skills are an absolute necessity.

Primary Objectives
- Manage warehousing and distribution services for a key client
- Present and interpret data in relation to client owned stock
- Manage and control stock levels, warehousing and distribution
- Provide operational support and insight on BAU work
- Review processes and self-improvements that will benefit the client
- Build and develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders
- Take a hands-on approach to issue resolution
- Ensure that all client information is kept up to date and accurate at all times
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- At least 2 years’ Account Management experience
- Strong working background managing warehousing and distribution services
- Working knowledge of e-commerce principles/ systems would be highly advantageous
- Strong numerical and data analysis skills and advanced Excel skills are a necessity
- Excellent organisational and communication skills required along with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrates a positive and ‘can do’ approach at all times
- Good IT literacy, specifically Microsoft Excel.
