We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and passionate Finance Assistant with great attention to detail who can support our Head of Finance as we continue to establish and grow the ID Logistics brand in the UK.
You will be responsible for activities such as financial record keeping, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting and various administrative duties.
We are a rapidly growing business in the UK and you would be joining a currently small finance team which may mean there could be Ad hoc projects and or tasks that require your additional support. This could be linked to new sites, expansions of our operations or related to general requests of the finance team that simple need additional resource. Your flexible approach and willingness to support the varying needs of the business will be key.
Experience of working in a similar role where you can demonstrate the positive impact your strong organisation and communication skills along with your finance knowledge will be essential. You will also be a relationship builder, able to establish rapport with colleagues, managers, the Senior Leadership team, our international colleagues as well as our Key clients.
Your skills and experience will include:
FP&A experience
Experience working within finance for a logistics or warehousing business would be advantageous
Numerical proficiency
Strong analytical skills with the ability to maintain and interpret complex data sets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Impressive critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficient in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with changes in best practice and legislation
Ideally you will be AAT qualified (or part-qualified)
