Our Client is looking for a Chief Commercial Officer who will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing commercial strategies to support business development, sales, and marketing across the organisation. The role involves overseeing sales, marketing, remarketing strategies, and ad-hoc projects while ensuring effective people and self-management.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities

Develop and enhance the group's commercial strategy.

Lead sales, marketing, and remarketing efforts across markets.

Drive business growth in South Africa and the broader SADC region.

Manage and develop key strategic alliances and partnerships.

Monitor commercial activities for sustainability.

Oversee ad-hoc projects and ensure successful completion.

Lead and manage a high-performing team.

Knowledge and Skills

• Expertise in commercial, sales, and marketing in asset-based finance.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Strategic leadership and decision-making.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and MS Office skills (advanced Excel).
• Deep knowledge of funding markets and industry relationships.

Qualifications

• Commercial or Postgraduate degree in management or a related field.
• 10-15 years' experience in Financial Services or Equipment Finance.
