Job Details
Hays Senior Finance are currently recruiting an Interim Finance Manager for our client, a well established and fast growing Tech business based in Cheltenham, to cover for 3 months whilst we go through a permanent recruitment campaign.
You must have NetSuite experience and be able to come into the office based in Cheltenham 3 days a week. Paying a competitive day rate inside of scope.
The Role:
As the Group Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance of the business, with a strong emphasis on commercial focus and strategic input. You'll be instrumental in guiding the business through its next phase of growth, balancing both high-level financial oversight and hands-on involvement in monthly financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the group's financial activities, providing strategic insights and commercial direction.
- Utilise PowerBI driving strong data analysis
- Take ownership of the month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial reporting.
- Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support decision-making.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support the leadership team in commercial opportunities and business planning.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support M&A activity, contributing to financial due diligence and integration.
About You:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in a fast-paced, growth-focused business.
- Hands-on experience with financial processes, including month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic industry.
- Prior experience in the technology sector is advantageous, but not essential.
