Job Description:

Position: GM Finance

Location : Kolkata

Reports to : CFO

Team Size: 12

Key

responsibilities:


• Coordinate with all Functional Heads for the development of the Annual Business Plan of the organization and provide strategic inputs for development of other organization policies

• Analyze revenue / cost lines, expenses & capital expenditures etc. to support Top Management in making key business decisions in pricing, trade , margins , ROI, cost management etc

• Oversee working capital management through cash, inventory, debtors and financial management to ensure continuity of operations and fulfilment of debt obligations when they fall due

• To drive Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting

• Oversee timely and accurate processing of all invoices and payments of accounts payable at Corporate related to projects, service vendors, employees, contractors and others upon receipt of payment advice

• Review outstanding list of customers against invoices on monthly/bi-monthly basis and highlight overdues, if any

• Closure of accounts and generating financial statements for the company within time lines and adhering to compliance standards

• Track, monitor and ensure preparation of general ledger accounts and financial statements for the company

• Ensure monthly financial closure including balance sheet and P / L analysis for the company

• Ensure accurate timely monthly, quarterly and year end closure of accounts for the company

• Track and monitor maintenance of records for routine accounting transactions for the company

• Track, monitor and ensure preparation of Income and Expenses report for the company

• Ensure compliance to accounting norms and statutory requirements, including audit for the company

• Ensure compliance to relevant statutory rules and regulations including application of Indian Accounting Standards, IFRS and others, as relevant and appropriate

• Ensure adherence and compliance to taxation norms, and submission of documents as per defined formats and within stipulated time frames

• Observe and follow financial security guidelines and norms, as defined by the company for adequate controls

• Provide information on financial and accounting status, statements, reports for the company, as per business requirements to various stakeholders within the company

• Prepare monthly, periodical, annual financial, MIS reports and account summaries for submission to leadership team, as per process and procedures

• Provide inputs to team to develop multiskilling across various accounting procedures, as necessary to meet functional objectives

Job Specifications:

Qualification: CA/ MBA with 12 years of experience.

Preferably from Project based Companies.
